Visitor's information

It is important for patients to receive visits from their family and friends - not only are they enjoyable but they also promote the healing process. That is why we want to provide you with some information so that your visit is as pleasant as possible. 

Information:
If you don't already know the ward of the patient you are visiting, please ask the staff at the admissions' office who will be happy to give you the information.

Visiting hours:
There are no special visiting hours. Please consider to observe the midday and night rest period so as not to interfere with the patient's healing process.

We also kindly ask for your understanding when asked to leave the room during medical or therapeutic treatment, so as to safeguard the patient's privacy.

Relatives discussions with doctors:
In order to give you, as the relative, sufficient time for your questions regarding the illness and the patient's further healing process, please arrange for these discussions with the nursing staff on the wards or the ward doctors. This will ensure that these discussions can generally speaking be held without interruptions. Please also understand that special circumstances can always arise in a hospital and that these discussions may have to be postponed at short notice or interrupted. The patient's well being has priority.

Lounges:
Your visit should be stimulating but not unsettling. Therefore, please do not expect too much of yourself and the patient as peace and quiet are also a part of healing. If the patients are allowed to leave their beds, you may use of common rooms, day rooms and the hospital's cafeteria as well as our kiosk.

Smoking rooms:
Smoking is only permitted in a specifically designated area outside. Smoking is not permitted anywhere else in the clinic. The consumption of alcohol is absolutely forbidden within the clinic.

Cafeteria and kiosk:
The cafeteria and the kiosk sell soft drinks, cake and ice cream. Apart from that, you have the opportunity of buying magazines, books and everyday essentials. Bunches of flowers are also available.

Parks:
The hospital's parks are in the courtyard between Buildings A, B and C as well as behind Building G. You are more than welcome to use these parks for your walks together.

Cafeteria opening hours:
Daily from 07:00 - 14:00
at weekends from 08:00 - 14:00



Kiosk opening hours:
Monday to Friday from 07:00 - 13:00 and 14:00 - 17:00.
Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 - 11:00 and 14:00 - 17:00.
