The hospital Groß-Sand is situated in Hamburg's district of Wilhelmsburg which, by the way, is the largest river island in Europe, on a small side canal on the Norderelbe. From the balcony of our rehabilitation building you can see the silhouette of Hamburg from the port over the television tour right through to the Michel - almost within tangible reach.
