Our ward
Patients in the surgical ward are accommodated in modern and comfortably fitted 1-bed, 2-bed and 3-bed rooms. All rooms have their own bathroom and toilet, television and radio. There are five intensive care beds.
Intensive Care Unit
The ICU in our hospital takes care of patients who require 24-hour monitoring. This may be necessary following larger operations but also in the event of life-threatening illnesses, for example heart attacks. The equipment used in the ICU is state-of-the-art so that almost all ICU related clinical symptoms can be treated. Three beds are reserved for artificial respiration. Medical treatment is performed interdisciplinary by doctors and nursing staff from the departments of internal medicine, surgery and anaesthesiology.
