The bed wards in the Internal Medicine department correspond to the most modern standards. The 1-bed and 2-bed wards are generous in design and are all equipped with their own - some also with handicapped-compatible - showers. All beds have their own television set. Of course, each ward has additional common rooms and an extensive selection of books.

ICU [Intensive Care Unit]
The ICU at our hospital takes care of patients who require 24-hour monitoring. This may be necessary after more extensive surgery but also in the event of life-threatening illnesses, such as a heart attack. The equipment used in the ICU is state-of-the-art so that almost all ICU-related clinical symptoms can be treated. Three beds are reserved for artificial respiration. Medical treatment is performed interdisciplinarily by doctors and nursing staff from Internal Medicine, Surgery and Anaesthesiology.
