Geriatric outpatient clinic
At the outpatient clinic we treat patients who no longer require inpatient treatment and who are relatively mobile and capable of helping themselves. These patients can then spend the evening and the night at home. There is a transport service to drive the patients to and from their home. A condition for treatment at the outpatient clinic are functional disturbances requiring treatment, for example for motor functions, language, thinking, balance or emotions. We admit patients who have been transferred from our own departments or from other hospitals. Even the general practitioner can refer patients to our hospital for primary therapy or repeat treatment.
