Department for early geriatric rehabilitation
In our department for early geriatric rehabilitation with an emphasis on neurology, we successfully treat more than 1000 patients every year and can draw on more than 10 years experience. Usually, the patients are often older people with many illnesses which require an diagnostic appropriate to their age and holistic rehabilitative therapies. The loss of independence, for example after a stroke, means
a new and difficult life situation for both patients and their family. Our priority is the personalised treatment of the individual and through our work in particular would like to achieve the restoration of mobility and the ability of self-help capacity. Depending on the need, we also arrange for continued care and the provision of therapeutic appliances.
Our goal is to enable as many patients as possible to return to their familiar home environment.

We treat patients following:
diseases, injuries and operations to the brain, the spinal cord and peripheral nerves, in particular:
- diseases, injuries and operations of the muscular and skeletal system
- diseases, injuries and operations of internal organs
Hereby, the following rehabilitation phases are possible:
- neurological early rehabilitation
- post-primary rehabilitation
- rehabilitation
- outpatient and semi-stationary rehabilitation
